On the evening of March 20, Huron Heights found graffiti inside the school property that was threatening in nature and made reference to an act of violence. The message read, “School Shooting March 28! Not a joke. Watch Out.” This threat was reported to the Waterloo Region Police Service and they are currently investigating to determine the author of the message and the motive behind it.

We take any threat of violence very seriously and are working closely with the Waterloo Regional Police Service in regard to this incident. Our staff and student safety and well-being is a top priority. While a Police investigation continues, Huron Heights remains open to students and staff.
