Business Certificate
By completing 5 courses in Business Studies you will qualify to receive a Business Certificate upon graduation along with your diploma. The courses can include all of the classes listed above, Law and/or Business co-op. For more information speak with a Business teacher or your Guidance counselor. You will apply for the certificate in grade 12 when you begin the graduation process.
Complete this form between June 1 and June 15 in your graduating year. We will then verify the information and make sure your certificate is included with your diploma at Commencement.
DECA
DECA is a business club for all students that offers competitions at the regional, provincial and international level. Students learn about business and enhance their presentation skills in front of judges from all walks of business. They develop vital skills such as teamwork, decision-making, interpersonal skills, and goal setting through written tests and oral competitions. No previous experience or business course is required.
