What is a RED SEAL Trade?

A Red Seal endorsement is a seal on your provincial or territorial trade certificate. It shows that you have the knowledge and skills necessary to practice your trade across Canada. To get the Red Seal endorsement, you need to pass the Red Seal exam.

Don’t worry if your trade isn’t a Red Seal trade – that’s not a bad thing! It just means there isn’t a single standardized national training program set up for it yet.
