- Do you want to learn more about HHSS initiatives and decisions where your input is welcomed?
- Do you want to learn more about Board and Ministry plans and initiatives, with a chance to voice your opinions before decisions are finalized?
- Do you want to participate in an information exchange that is informal and informative?
School Council is a great way to get to know the Principal, some Huron Heights staff members and other parents, and to stay informed about various topics, including upcoming events at Huron Heights, updates from the Waterloo Regional Assembly of Public School Councils (WRAPSC), parent nights, report card information, course selection and much more.
School Council at Huron Heights is a very casual and non-threatening way to stay informed and ask questions about your community high school and to share your ideas.
Research shows us that students learn best when a school and its parent community work closely together. Huron Heights success depends on all of its stakeholders working together: students, staff and parents.
