The Husky Series Book Club meets in person once every three months.  Please note that our meetings will take place during the lunch hour in the library for approximately 30 to 35 minutes.  New members are always welcome.

The 2023 / 2024 reading season is soon upon us.  Below you will find meeting dates along with what we will be reading for this exciting new year.

Upcoming books and meeting dates are:

Friday, November 24, 2023 – This meeting will have a focus on Canadian authors.  There are a number to choose from but consider one of the following:  Joseph Boyden; Esi Edugyen; Terry Fallis; Lisa Moore; Heather O’Neill; Eden Robinson.

Friday, February 23, 2024 – We will have a focus on classic books.  Some examples are: The Picture of Dorian Gray (Oscar Wilde); Brave New World (Aldous Huxley); The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde (Robert Louis Stevenson); The Call of the Wild (Jack London)

Friday, May 31, 2024 – Our final meeting of the year will have a focus on young adult fiction.  Check out some of these authors: Kelley Armstrong; Angeline Boulley; Kacen Callender; Neil Gaiman; Christopher Paolini; Nicola Yoon.
