The Ministry of Education recognizes the importance of student well-being as a requirement for academic achievement.
The WRDSB Mental Health and Addictions Strategy
As a result, they require every school board in Ontario to have a three-year Mental Health and Addictions Strategy. These plans guide our work around student mental health and well-being across the WRDSB and impact student, staff and family learning opportunities.
