Instructional Support Days & PA Day

Instructional Support and Evaluation Days will be offered as scheduled on our  ministry-approved school calendar for 2023-2024.

Semester 1: Thursday, November 9 & Friday, November 10, 2023

Students are not required to attend on Instructional Support Days, unless directed to attend by a teacher for academic assistance (i.e. completing outstanding work, receiving additional support, etc.)

ACE students will attend school with regular programming and following regular attendance procedures. Transportation will run at regular times.

These days are an opportunity for teachers to focus on a variety of assessment and evaluation products, conversations, and observations that will aid students in consolidating learning and working towards a provincial standard demonstration of the overall expectations prior to a reporting period. On these days, teachers will have a plan to support each student to improve their achievement. These days are tremendously beneficial to our students’ well-being and provide an opportunity for both remediation and deeper understanding on the topics covered in class.
