This information is for secondary students (Grade 9 to 12) and their families.

Instructional support days are designed to provide a mid-semester opportunity for students to catch up on missing work, submit work and receive direct individual support from their classroom teachers.

Classroom teachers work with their students at credit rescue assignment completion, and/or offer additional opportunities for students to demonstrate a skill or overall curriculum expectation that has been missed or requires further demonstration/help with.

    • Targeted support
      • Synchronous 1:1 or small group support for students who would benefit from additional time/instruction on foundational skills/concepts to set them up for success over the remainder of the semester (Google Meet/ phone call)
      • Asynchronous mark opportunities or work completion opportunities, allowing targeted students to re-do, re-write, or revise work, or submit missing work.

SEMESTER 2 Tues. April 19 Wed. April 20
Morning Block Period 1 Period 1
Period 2 Period 2
Afternoon Block Period 3 Period 3
Period 4 Period 4

We will be observing our regular day timetable, so teachers will be available to students for in-person or remote support at the same time of day that their class normally occurs. In-person attendance at school is optional for students, but students that choose to attend school in person are then expected to attend each of their classes as scheduled. Students will not be permitted to sit in the Library or Cafeteria when they are scheduled to be in class.
