Happy Halloween Huskies. Here is a listing of the events planned for the days leading up to and after Halloween this year:

Friday, Oct 27: Teacher Apple-Bobbing Relay @ lunch

Two staff teams will compete in an apple-bobbing themed relay competition on the stage in the cafeteria @ lunch.

Monday, Oct 30: Pumpkin Carving @ lunch

Four teams of students will carve pumpkins on the stage in the cafeteria @ lunch. Applications for pumpkin carving are available at the activities office window. The four best applications will be chosen to compete on stage.

Tuesday, Oct 31: Dress-up Day & Teacher Band @ lunch

Staff & students are encouraged to dress up in their best appropriate costumes and participate in a costume competition (with prizes!!) on the stage in the cafeteria @ lunch. The Teacher Band will be performing on the stage at the beginning of lunch!

Guidelines for the Halloween dress-up contest:

Best GROUP Costume
Free Limo to Homecoming, Semi-Formal or Prom for up to 6 people

Best Individual Costume
First Place – 2 tickets to semi-formal or homecoming
Second Place – $20 gift certificate to Gino’s Pizza
Third Place – $10 gift card to Subway

Best Teacher Costume
$10 gift card to Tim Horton’s

Judging criteria: Overall visual impact and creativity

Wednesday, Nov 1: Pajama Day

Staff and students wearing pajamas the day after Halloween can visit the activities office at lunch for an ice cream sandwich*
