Are you looking for something to do this Thursday night? Look no further. The Grade 12 Drama Class presents their summative showcase. The showcase consists of workshop productions of two short plays that the class has been working on for the last six weeks as they explore the idea of what it means to be human.
The Way He Speaks, follows high school student Jamie as he struggles to come to terms with his identity as it conflicts with his religious beliefs and worries about how those around him will respond. End of the Line takes place at a Greyhound terminal and explores the random meetings of various individuals as they contemplate their humanity.
The shows kick off on Thursday, January 19 at 7pm in the Huron Heights Cafetorium. We will be accepting freewill donations for the Canadian Addiction and Mental Health Foundation at the door.
Please be aware that the shows explore mature themes and contain some strong language.
