The Huron Heights Powwow 2017 runs this Friday at the school.  Students from all over the region will be attending this school event, along with 60 members of the local First Nations community.  Huron students can buy out of their last period class on Friday for a $2.00 contribution, and attend the last hour of the Powwow.  This is an excellent opportunity to not only see a traditional powwow, but also to interact and speak with the dancers, drummers, singers and elders.  There will also be displays and vendors to visit.
